lactation and feeding support

In 2018, I completed my Breastfeeding Educator (now Lactation Educator) certification through bebo mia inc., based on the World Health Organization 20 hour lactation course. I am now working toward completing my hours to become a Lactation Consultant.

During this process, I will be mentored by Caitlin Black-Allen, IBCLC, of Nurture Lactation Services

We offer Sarnia and surrounding areas in home and virtual support. You get the best of both worlds – hands on support by an experienced and compassionate doula, with virtual guidance and expertise of an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

holistic lactation assessments

Mother Breastfeeding Baby

We will begin with an overview of your medical and labour history. We will make sure we have all the pieces of the puzzle to fully understand your unique situation. We will get to the core of your short and long term goals and/or any challenges you are experiencing.

observation and guidance

Mother Baby Bonding

By observing you feeding your baby, we will be able to offer suggestions on how to make it easier and more effective. With hands on guidance, we can often make big gains with small adjustments.

written plans and  follow up

Mother Working from Home

After the visit, we will provide you with a completely customized action plan to help you achieve your goals. You will have this to refer to, as well as to share with your medical provider if desired. Additionally, you will receive ongoing phone and/or e-mail support to ensure you are supported as you put your plan in action.

Your Investment: $130

Each session typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and can be done in the comfort of your home. This is often the most relaxed place for the birthing parent and their baby. Please contact us for virtual only pricing. All lactation clients receive ongoing phone/e-mail support and can book additional in person hours at a reduced price if required.
